I remember this situation vividly. It was an incredibly difficult decision to ask this family to leave our center. There are different perspectives to every situation and I witnessed the family\'s difficulties with the factors involved. There were many factors involved. It is my responsibility to take care of the needs of the GROUP of children attending. We do not discuss a child\'s development with others. We also, at no point in time, allude to a particular developmental challenge by name. We are Early Childhood Educators not Pediatricians or Interventionists. We can only encourage that family\'s seek additional resources. We also do not speak to a family\'s television selections but should a parent ask us to help brainstorm where a child might learn exhibited behaviors, we will help them reflect. I wish this family much happiness and wish them well.
We have never recieved a temporary license from the Dept. of Community Services which can be viewed online. We have two large binders filled with 13 yrs of testimonials here on-site. So I conclude with again wishing the family well.

I will never recommend this daycare to anyone, based on the very limited experience that I had, dealing with them. We enrolled our son, aged 3, to this daycare, paying for a full month of part time care. After only 2 and a half days, we were asked to not bring him back, as a result of his 'bad behaviour' with other kids. We have never seen our son showing extremely bad behaviour anywhere (certainly nothing worse then any other average 3 yr old). When I was asked to come in and watch him with other kids, I saw him share, hug and play very nicely with the kids. My husband and I were treated very rudely, as the administrator implied that he might have ADHD, or that perhaps we shouldn't watch wrestling with our son on TV (we never watch wrestling). They were happy to reimburse us in full, including the 3 days that he did attend. But if anyone choses to send their child here, beware that they may be kicked out without any warning or notice if he/she happens to be in a bad mood or under the weather!
